Browser extension

On a page that already has a discussion, a dot appears on the vpvd icon. Click it to see the best comments and open the thread, or "Start discussion" if there is no thread yet.

What it doesn't do

It doesn't send the addresses of pages you open. The "is there a discussion here" check runs inside the browser against a compact filter downloaded in full once an hour. A page address is sent to the server only when you click "Open" or "Start discussion" yourself.

Where to get it

The extension will appear in the Chrome Web Store and Firefox Add-ons after the public launch. Until then you can join a discussion from here: paste a link on the home page or send it to the Telegram bot.

Download now

The add-on is still in store review. Until then you can install it from this site — it works the same, you just update it by hand.

  1. Unpack the archive → open chrome://extensions → turn on Developer mode → Load unpacked → pick the vpvd-chrome folder.
  2. Unpack the archive → open about:debugging#/runtime/this-firefox → Load Temporary Add-on → pick manifest.json. This lasts until Firefox restarts; a permanent install arrives after the AMO review.
